Two held in Vietnam

Vietnamese journalists Nguyen Van Hai and Nguyen Viet Chien, who probed official corruption in 2005, have been arrested for “misuse of power and authority”. NUJ member Bill Hayton, a former BBC reporter in Hanoi, said powerful interests were trying to roll back media freedom gains.
