IN THE elections for the NUJ National Executive Council 2009-11 the following were elected in the contested seats:
Wales: Meic Birtwistle/Neil Taylor (job share)
Disabled members: John Coghlan/Stephen Brookes (job share)
Books: Kyran Connolly
London: Tom Davies, Phil Sutcliffe, Pierre Vicary, Barry White
PR and information: Anita Halpin
Newspapers and agencies: Ray King
Midlands of England: Lucy Lynch/Barbara Goulden (job share)
Broadcasting: Nick Serpell
North west England: Dave Toomer.
Other seats were unopposed. NEC members have traditionally held their seats for a year, between Annual Delegate Meetings, but from this election will hold them for two years. The full membership of the NEC and all other NUJ bodies is at www.nuj.org.uk
