Good cop … bad cop
Guy Smallman photographed an officer through his riot shield. He said: ‘At one point in Threadneedle Street a riot cop slammed his shield into my camera while I was taking a photo. He was looking right at me when he did it.
‘Later on outside RBS I was knocked over backwards by a tightly packed crowd surge. I had people falling on top of me.
‘Fortunately I was pulled to my feet by a policeman — a sergeant in the Forward Intelligence Team.’
