AS IF politicians hadn’t been battered enough, the Parliamentary tennis team was soundly beaten by the British journalists’ team in London in May.
The journalists, captained by NUJ member and former Daily Mail reporter Tony Doran, won both rubbers against two Labour MPs and two peers, who were captained by a former Wimbledon player, Baroness Angela Billingham.
