What’s so great about Wapping?
I choked over the reference to the “great Wapping dispute” in the Nov-Dec 2008 issue. Great for the winners — News International and Rupert Murdoch — but not for unions. The print unions never recovered, and sadly the NUJ was divided and diminished by it for a generation.
