THE Court of Justice of the Economic Community of West African States in Nigeria has ordered the release of Gambian journalist Ebrima Manneh, who has been held incommunicado for two years and who is reported to have died.
The printing press of the Basque newspaper El Correo in the town of Zamudio was bombed in June. Fifty staff were in the building but no one was hurt. Police accused the Basque separatist group ETA of the attack.
