From Marilyn Monroe to angling

Former Fleet Street photographer, staunch NUJ member and fishing book author John Mitchell has died aged 80. Over 50 years he photographed some of the world’s most famous people, including Frank Sinatra and Marilyn Monroe. He wrote eight books on fishing, illustrated with his own photographs.
