The NUJ’s magazine the Journalist is now available online

The April 2008 issue was produced as a standard 32-page A4 print-format magazine but not printed. It was saved in pdf and html formats and is available here.

The main feature in this issue is an interview with journalist Nick Davies, author of Flat Earth News, the book that has exposed what’s wrong with contemporary journalism, which he calls “churnalism”.
It’s a call to action to put things right that the NUJ must respond to.
There’s also an audio clip of Nick Davies talking to Journalist editor Tim Gopsill.
